We are all born into a family. We are all born with certain personality traits. We are all unique human beings… so What Is Your Sto

We have all been affected by our past and by all of our past experiences. We have taken on certain belief systems and have created our life a certain way according to those belief systems. So what is your story? What would your auto biography say?

One of the first healing exercises I ever learned was to write out my life story. It was a piece of the whole healing process, but was a large piece, and a very enlightening piece. Your story can be 2 pages long, it can be 27 pages long, but everyones story is their own and its from your own unique perspective. So grab a piece of paper, a journal and a pencil (or pen).

Lets start by brain storming our memories, maybe writing out a timeline. What do you remember from your early days? From your school years, how about early adulthood or beyond? Jot down any notes you can remember and any memories that are still in your mind. What were the happy times? What were the sad times? Each of us have both ups and downs through out our lives so lets not forget either of them.

Once you have made notes and jotted down what you can remember lets write it out, put it into a story. If someone else were to read this, lets draw them a picture in their minds. (no one else ever has to read this unless you choose to do so.)

Now lets read it back to ourselves. Lets not be critical of the writing, we are not here to edit it, we are here to gather awareness of our thoughts, our feelings, and our belief systems. Where are we holding ourselves back? When did we start to feel not good enough? What else were we feeling? What else were we taught to believe; about ourselves, our body, our minds, our lives, the world, the community? what kind of judgements do we hold? Because however you judge the neighbours, you are also judging yourself…. so re read your story and just pick out the ones that stand out to you. These are the ones the universe is pointing out for you to transform.

You can always go back and do this again, in a month, in six months, in a year, or two. you will always find you will notice different things each time you write your story. and if your healing game is strong, you will continue to heal different things each time!
