When you empower yourself, you empower all those around you.
It’s not empowering to take on everyone else’s pain.
It’s not yours to carry.
And if you do help them cart it around you are just enabling the cycles of suffering.
I know, cause I’ve been there
Let it go.
Easier said than done. Because there is a reason you are attaching yourself to that situation. It’s helping you hold onto something painful inside of you.
Recognize this.
The reason you are attached to others situations is because there is something inside of you that resonates with it.
Here’s where you take your power back…
Get totally fucking honest with yourself and deal with whatever you need to move through to forgive yourself and others.
And then let it go.
Release everything this situation brings up for you.
The healing is the moment of transformation.
And once healed you actually release your attachment to the other persons suffering as well.
And then you can just love them.
You don’t have to change them or their situation, but you also won’t encourage it either.
And it’ll no longer have the effect it used to have on you. It won’t drain you if energy, it won’t drag up old emotions, it won’t create I level of tension, stress and anxiety within you that’s hard to deal with.
Empowering yourself in this way only helps to empower the people around you.
It helps them take responsibility for their own pain and suffering, and by you not being attached to the situation, as a loved one you can help heal them as well ?
