I went out to the horses last night.

It was the hardest and easiest thing I’ve ever done.

And I apologized.

I apologized for every wrong doing. For every missed step. For every time I had no idea what they were trying to tell me.

And I sat there and felt their forgiveness.

I’ve had a couple of these horses for over 13 years, a couple of them for over 7 years and my baby going on 5 years.

This is a journey for all of us. And I’ve gone from back yard cowboy to horseman’s college to western rider lessons to Parelli clinics and practice to now Equine Guided facilitation.

Healing with Horses.

I didn’t even know that existed, and when I heard about it I sure didn’t know what it was all about.

But 2019 is a year of being FEARLESS.

Jumping in with both feet.

It’s a year of stepping into my true gifts.

It seems like a turning year in my lifetime of adventures.

I’ve spent years looking for who I really am and stepping into what I really want to do.

I remember before I bought my first horse(s) (Rain & Storm) after finishing college, I sat in my apartment and pondered life (like I do often). I dreamt of my life and what I wanted to be when ‘I grew up’

Now here I sit, with not only Rain and Storm but three other horses and we are living it.

It’s not always perfect. It’s not always easy. In fact sometimes it’s down right gut clinchingly painful.

But it’s our journey. And it’s perfect for us.

It’s everything I’ve dreamed of and more. It’s our dreams and inspirations brought to life.

And I can’t reiterate enough how NOT easy it was.

But it was worth it. Every step of the way.

And it’ll continue to be worth it, because it’s our dream.

So here we go, walking into 2019 with no regrets and all slates cleared.

Onward and upward into this new adventure. And this feeling of peace, joy and love like never before.

I can’t wait to see where this takes us. ?
