It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
And though I’ve come SOOO far from where I was – there’s still a whole new level of trust to sink into
Today I walked out to see why Storm is always so far removed from the herd.
I set that intention…. but that’s not the answer I got
She reflected back to me my sensitivity.
She doesn’t need to be in the herd to be connected to them.
Sometimes she’s with them, joining in the herd activities… but more often then not you’ll see her off by herself.
She’s a very sensitive but confident and quiet horse.
And right now she’s helping me sink into a whole new level of trust.
There are still a lot of things I waver on when it comes to my intuition.
It’s not that I don’t know what my intuition is telling me. It’s that I feel uncomfortable with the answer because of how it’ll make others feel.
And she just had 3 huge yawns.
So to trust in myself I need to understand that my truth might make others uncomfortable and that’s ok.
Trust is hard to do when for so long you’ve been disrespected and all boundaries have been crossed.
But it’s something that can be built up again and is necessary for inner peace and happiness.
Both trust in yourself and others.
It may not come easily but it’s worth the effort that’s put in to gain that trust.
A lot of the work I do with my horses is at liberty.
Just out in the field.
This is where life happens.
No strings attached.
It’s where you find truth.
Not control and intimidation.
You have to step into your real courage.
And today I stepped out of one more layer of insecurity and into my true self.
These animals are raw, they are the real deal, they are sweet and sensitive.
They are also not going to lie to you.
They demand you step up with trust, respect, and courage.
