This is a term I first heard while listening to the Parelli level courses.
I had full intentions of coming out here today to either do a full ‘live’ for you guys … cause i miss them
Or sit quietly with my journal and write till my heart was content.
These guys had other plans.
I wasn’t even to the pen yet and this term popped in my head.
And then since setting that intention and just being present I realized that’s exactly what I needed.
No need to ask anything of them.
Just be.
No need to ask anything of myself either.
Just allow myself to sit here in this moment and soak it up.
All of it.
Undemanding time is not just for our horsemanship. But for ourselves too.
Rarely do horses ask anything if each other.
They just hang out and be together.
And it’s actually the perfect mix to my other focus… leadership.
Which was also going to be a topic I was going to write about today.
But I can save that one for another day.
Today is all about nothing.
N asking nothing of yourself.
It’s exactly what I needed. And these guys asked for.
