(The message from the thunderstorm)
As I mentioned in my last post, what amazed me the most about this summers adventures/this whole years adventures… was that I’ve been able to stay in my courage, my power, the whole time. Because when I felt myself falling out of my power I had the tools and skills to bring myself back in.
Even through being third-trimester pregnant, a cesarian birth and the long ass healing process … even when my physical body wasn’t up to par, my mind, my emotions stayed steady. (As much as possible)
Every time I was hit with another challenge I faced it head on (with the help of my support team- which makes a huge difference!) and in this place I was unbreakable.
I’ve stood up to challenges that I have been facing my whole life, one’s that have brought me to my knees before. I’ve healed places that have run to the very depths of my soul and I have only come out stronger on the other side.
I’ve earned my keep, I’ve stood up to each and every challenge that has come my way. And we’ve all come out the other side that much stronger.
Together, we rise, as I do my healing work I in turn heal the household. The stronger I am the more I can be there for others, and I can teach them to be there for themselves. Together we heal.
This road of healing, of self awareness, of facing our own demons is not easy. It’s the most challenging and rewarding work I’ve ever done. But it’s worth every single tear of truth.
And this is the experience I want to pass onto my kids. No one is perfect, but through forgiveness and courage and healing we all rise together.
