The basement has been completed but we are taking our time to move in.
Instead of just jumping right in and only setting up the healing spaces I’m taking the time to cleanse the whole house.
A spring clean.
A full house decluttering.
We are all upleveling. We are all growing into new spaces.
I started upstairs and moved everything down. Those rooms will soon become the boys bedrooms. So I removed anything that was not going to stay in their future rooms (plus we stored all of the extra basement stuff upstairs and it was our office space because the nursery took that space two years ago lol)
Now I’m cleaning the main floor. Starting in the nursery where Peanut will soon be moving out and Jayce will soon be moving in.
Then I moved onto our bedroom where jayce is currently and I went through all of his things because he’s outgrowing his clothes and toys faster than I can keep up.
I moved onto the bathrooms as they are adjoining the bedrooms and finished that end of the house.
I’ve now moved into the kitchen, living room, porch and laundry room. Every closet is getting cleaned, every drawer, knoll and cranny.
Why am I telling you this?
Because every up level has growing pains, they all require a shift and in my world getting rid of the old is the best way to usher in the new.
Decluttering, deep cleaning and smudging/energy clearing is a great way to refreshed your spaces.
And trust me they need to be cleansed every once in awhile otherwise you stay stagnant.
And because the middle is MeSSy.
The beginnings are fun and exciting with anticipation of what’s to come, and the ends are rewarding and nostalgic, but the middles are where the magic happens. It’s where the shift takes place, it’s where the learning and growth happen. It’s where we uplevel to the next phase of our life.
It sometimes comes with growing pains (much like pregnancy 
)
So next week I’ll be starting on the basement.
The furniture will all get put into place, the books, files and figurines placed where they need to be. The photos will all get hung and EVERYTHING will have been gone through and anything that we don’t need or want will be given away.
Like I keep saying “it can go”

We are upleveling
We are growing into this new phase in our lives and creating something new from where there was once nothing.
Dreams come to reality.
And I’m working super hard to bring this all together for you!
