It’s a journey.
This post was going to be about potty training lol …
However, potty training has actually taught me a lot about life. Lol.
But I’m going to focus on this one topic today.
You see when you potty train you have to do your prep work, set yourself up for success.
And then comes the actual teaching them to use the potty.
And and then the follow up. You have to continue to practice what you’ve taught them until it becomes second nature.
This is the same for just about anything in life.
You prep, actually do, then follow through
It seems straight forward but this journey actually causes a lot if ups and downs. Challenges arise as you learn a new skill, and you are rewarded with successes (big and small)
Because it’s a marathon not a sprint.
It takes time to learn a new skill, all the pieces have to fall together just right.
Another piece of this conversation is actually the energy you hold while moving through these challenges and taking on new skills.
(Kinda like the challenge of getting everyone to smile for the selfie lol)
Moving through a new learning phase will bring changes in your life and you have to set your mind right to be able to accomplish these with ease.
Embrace the journey, set yourself up for success and continue to follow through. ![]()
