On this National Indigenous Day

I want to honour the space of healing our generational trauma.

This is where I’ve been, this is still what I’m working on in my family.

Undoing the experiences that those before us suffered through so it no longer has to affect us.

Generational trauma has been the source of so much pain and suffering in our lives.

Forgiving the past.

Letting go of the hurtful experiences.

Rewriting the future.

Changing the patterns within.

Digging into limiting beliefs and how we see the world.

Knowing that we are meant for more.

Healing generational trauma is a passion of mine, because it hits close to home.

My story resides in the pain and suffering of the Metis families.

But having undone the wounding that got passed down I can now see the situation through a neutral lens.

I don’t have to stay caught up in the story.

I don’t have to stay in resentment or suffering.

Why would I want to? I’d just continue to hurt myself by staying wounded.

I’d love to bring this same peace into your life, into your family.

It’s more than just possible, it’s necessary if we want to create peace on earth. 💕
