This is my Storm…
I got her in 2005 when she was merely a week old at the side of her mother Rain.
I knew nothing about raising foals, but these were my two sweet new horses.
Now I can’t say Storm was an easy baby… but she was. She is a curious, confident, independent horse.
She did everything right while I struggled to figure out what the hell I was doing.
She still has so much to teach me… and when I ever needed a horse to ‘talk’ to and sit with I’d sit with Storm, Not that I was listening but I always felt I had a friend.
When I started working with Hillary and learning how to get messages from my horses I had them all out front and I just went out to who ever called me to be with them…
Storm called a lot. She has a very powerful energy that I just love and her independence and her leadership and her inner strength just astound me. But she’s also forgiving… very forgiving.
She has a very clean energy. She sparkles and I love that. She knows how to be a part of a group, but she also knows how to stand alone. She knows when to be still and when to act… She has strong boundaries.
There is so much I need to still learn from this mare. Her feminine power is both strong and sweet. And she was the perfect addition to my herd so many years ago…
