Good Afternoon,

Things are staying interesting around here as always! Haying season has just started, and the grass is lookin good around here. So that will be my second home for the next month or two! But I am not complaining, there is nothing like spending a day in the tractor. Its good for my soul…. and for the cows come winter time.

This week I’ll  be taking Storm to the vet to get preg checked so by the next letter I’ll have the news for you! I’m sure if she’s bred then there will not be the complications I had last year, so if she is bred I will be expecting a tiny foal next spring! Its only been 3 years in the making.

Last Thursday we had our first ladies riding day and it went really well! If you know of anyone who would like to come out, or you yourself would like to come out and join us we would love to have you! We work on a little bit of ground work first and then, when our horses are ready, we move onto different riding tasks. We always see a huge improvement by keeping with our ground manners first and making sure our horses are polite and responsive before we start riding.

I will also be starting a pinterest page to display my photos and my inspiration for you. All of these photos will be displayed on my facebook page as well. I’ll soon have articles in my blog as well. My website is still under construction for a little bit more, but I now have an expert working on it! So soon, very, very soon!

I hope you are having a fun summer with your horse! There is no time like now to be out there playing with them and riding them! If you have any stories or pictures send them to me! I’d love to hear what you are up too!

…until next time
