You often get exactly what you want when you let go of what you think you need.

Our projections, judgments and fears often stand in the way of what we are seeking out.

This is a very go, go, go society. And we often find ourselves, sometimes unconsciously, pushing or forcing things to go a certain way in our lives cause that’s what we think we need to happen to satisfy us and keep us comfortable and content.

This pushy, forceful energy is there because of fear.

It’s the opposite of trust.

It’s the opposite of faith.

And yes, sometimes it’ll get you what you want but I promise the satisfaction won’t last long because the fear is still present.

In the long run what you are seeking is relief from the fear. And you’ll find this through finding inner peace.

This is the journey.

Some of us believe the perfect job will satisfy us, or a large sum of money.

Some of us are wanting the perfect relationship, or the perfect marriage, or the perfect family.

Some of us are more concerned with our bodies, our look, our clothes, our strength or figure.

Where none of these are bad in themselves- seeking these things and pushing and forcing them to be present in our lives out of fear of NOT having them will only lead to discontent in the long run.

So when we let go of the fears behind our pushiness and settle into a place of “I’m content whether this happens or not” what often happens is that it miraculously unfolds for us in a very authentic way!

The universe is not here to hold back on the good things coming to you! It’s not punishing, it’s not resentful of your past…

So once we find that place of inner security and peace with where we are right in this moment …. things just start to unravel as they are meant to… and probably just the way you were asking them to, only without the anxiety and urgency.

Is there any place in your life that you feel you are pushing, forcing or feeling anxiety or fear around creating?

Settle into this place and ask yourself. “Even if I don’t get …… will I still be ok?” “Can I find that place of peace in this moment even if things are not how I imagined them to be?”
