That’s how the universe works.
That’s why it’s required we find our patience and that we live moment to moment.
Because the universe works in moments.
It works in miracles.
But it also works in the doing… one step at a time.
Whether the doing is a prayer, a meditation, a yoga class, a healing session, a much needed nap.
Or whether the doing is finishing your taxes or your dishes or your laundry or your job (whatever job you hold) or something super physical like a workout or a strenuous activity..
It still works moment to moment.
Some projects are big – they require time.
Some projects take no time at all.
But if we break them all down, they all require steps. They require us to show up the best we know how to participate.
If you want to loose weight, feel better, change jobs, make more money, build a relationship. This TAKES TIME. Give it time.
Some things are messy. Some things are easy. It really doesn’t matter how it happens. That’s not the point. The point is to keep going. Follow your dreams. Follow your heart.
But know the journey is in the moments. It’s in the focus.
If you are asking a horse to walk from point A-B … they have to take every step along the way. And those steps require motivation, encouragement, direction and the satisfaction of doing so. It takes putting one foot in front of the other over and over again.
And if they happen to take a wrong step it requires the redirection to come back on track.
You don’t have to make them wrong for this step (or yourself). Just keep going with focus and purpose.
The photo below is a photo of our half finished chicken coop. It’s a project we saw through from beginning to end. It took motivation. It took time. It took support. It took knowledge. It’s not done yet. But we know we’ll get there. We aren’t quitting half way through.
It’s just one of many projects we’ve taken on and followed through on.
We started this farm from scratch. It takes time. Each and every project took time. And patience. And knowledge and motivation. And support. So don’t give up!
It’s not easy.
But it gets easier if you take it. One. Step. At. A. Time. Take Everything moment to moment.
