This post feels very raw and real.
Not just because I’m in my pajamas, in my bedroom, on my yoga mat, no makeup, hair not even done… in the midst of my thoughts…
But because this morning there was no candles, no incense, no crystals, no malas, no oils, no symbology, no vision boards… no external inspiration or uplifting vibrational support.
Not even music.
It was just me and my thoughts.
I had to inspire me.
I had to uplift me.
I had to get real with me.
There was nothing else to focus on.
Just me.
And that’s real.
That’s raw.
That’s honesty and integrity.
It’s a place not a lot of people hang out because it’s too rich and deep.
We easily get distracted with ‘things’ around us.
We look outside of ourselves for the answers.
We look outside of ourselves for our joy, our peace, our love, our happiness.
When in true honestly and authenticity, it comes from inside of ourselves.
It’s a very hard place for people to go.
They don’t want to see what’s deep within.
They try to just control and work with what’s on the surface.
They determine their worth, their value, by who they can be on the outside.
What they can give. What they offer. What they contribute.
Your being is not determined on what you give or what you receive.
Your being is worthy because you ARE ALIVE.
Not because of what you can or cannot do or what you do or don’t have.
One day at a time. I’m pairing down to the bottom of my rawness. My realness.
Because I too have got caught up in the outside.
In the worthiness of my doing and having.
One day at a time I’ll meet myself on the inside.
In this raw, real place
