This is Jet.
He was my main healer this weekend.
I thought I’d be posting a lot about this retreat that I was SO excited to go on! However, with no cell reception and only limited wifi access, here is my post about my 4 day experience…
I met Jet during my last retreat as well, only briefly but it was significant. He’s an amazing space holder as I moved through what I needed to.
He came up in almost every session for me. And he just stood with me, protecting me, and creating a space where some pretty deep transformation took place.
He is such a healer. He was very patient and strong. And he held the space and just let me shift. He opened me up to places that I forgot existed. On the positive side, but first we had to dig into the darkness. All of many many experiences that I wanted to forget.
And together we transformed.
My last retreat was about shifting out of a place of fear. My motto for this year, and for this course, was to find that place inside of me that was FEARLESS.
This time, as I move along the journey, it was time to move through my anger and frustrations.
To understand where my boundaries begin and others end.
To understand that no one has a right to intrude on those boundaries unless I say so.
To know that I have the final say about how I show up in the world.
And he gave me the power to do so.
(This process is almost beyond words.
It feels like whatever I type will not do the experience justice.)
Along with digging deep we also brought to light what each of our strengths were. We were all shocked to find out that our strengths came very naturally, and most of us (if not all) felt that what was really our strength, actually felt like a weakness.
And it was also profound and enlightening to find out that we all found our strength by embracing our soft side.
There was a calmness, a gentleness, a compassionate place in each of us that held our greatest treasure.
And though each of ours looked and felt different they were just as powerful as the next.
As each of us stepped into our individual gifts and strengths our personal empowerment began to emerge.
Things happened with ease and grace. The universe conspired to bring missing pieces of our lives together.
It also helped shift us out of anything that was in our way.
That journey looks different for each of us, but together we are strong and can support one another as we continue to grow ?
