It is just as it sounds… becoming aware of your self.
Which surprisingly is hard for a lot of people. We can’t see through our own illusions, our fears, our worries, our past stories, our perceptions of the world… But this is precisely the practice. Looking beyond what we think or what we perceive or what we fear.
Our limiting beliefs & our perceptions of our experiences are not the truth.
We know we have hit upon the truth when we feel peaceful inside, when we can feel the joy of our experiences (no matter what experience), and when we can be in the space of unconditional love for ourselves and others.
How we see others = how we see ourselves.
How we see ourselves = how we see others.
There is no exception to this rule…. period.
So as I mentioned… this is a practice. Each moment, each day, each experience we go through we need to continue to stay self aware. We need to continue to make sure our belief systems (and our actions) are in line with our truth.
Again, we know this if we are not at peace with the situation then we are not in alignment with our truth and there is some awareness that needs to come to light.
This will lead me to Self Responsibility.
Each and every person is responsible for their thoughts, their beliefs, their emotions and their actions, period.
No one else can be responsible for you BUT YOU! You are the one thinking your thoughts, feeling your emotions and responding to your own unique experiences from the way you are perceiving them.
These two concepts go hand in hand. You need to be continue to become aware of your self because you are the only one, and can be the only one responsible for YOU!
And that easily leads me into the conversation around understanding Our Impact.
We all have an impact on our world. Each and every one of us has an affect on the world around us. No impact is right or wrong, good or bad, it just is…. and it is how we perceive it. It is an experience made for us, from us. And this is where our awareness starts.
We have to be AWARE of our impact. We have to understand that our actions, our words, our behaviors, even our feelings, our beliefs and our thoughts impact our worlds.
There is no moment that we are not having an impact on the world around us. We are creating the world around us with our being-ness and we are creating our perception of the world around us with our beliefs about that world.
Are those thoughts, beliefs and feelings ones of inner peace? How about experiences of unconditional love? Or are we creating a life of joy and gratitude?
If not we better take a second and settle into the place of self awareness about how our experience is making us feel and what we believe about it.
It’s from here, and only from here, we can create and make a shift to finding the place of our inner truth. ?
