This spring has bombarded me with outer experiences that have really brought forth my inner struggles.
As it probably has for many of you too.
This whole experience has made a shift and an impact in the world none of us can undo.
But what we can do is be responsible for our own inner shifts and moving through what it’s brought up for us.
And that’s exactly what I’ve taken the time to do.
Being a super sensitive person I have felt all of the outer feelings.
I’ve had to step away from social media, news posts and even conversations with people about many topics as it was all too much to ingest for me.
I continued to stay in the loop, but tried to detach from others experiences of the situation.
I needed the time to sit with what was coming up for me.
And I have done that, and will continue to do so until I’ve found the other side.
That’s what the work is all about.
Finding our way through.
Finding our way home.
Sometimes that’s a soft journey that creates a lighthearted feeling and an uplifting experience.
But sometimes it’s dark, it’s messy, it’s overwhelming, it’s the deepest truths coming to the surface…. the ones we don’t want to face.
Sometimes it deeply hurts- but that’s the road through.
If we continue to deny these inner feelings we’ll continue to struggle.
But if we face them head on we can start to see them, and feel them, for what they really are.
They will lead us back to the truth.
We can unwind the story we hold inside and transform it back to the happy ending it was always meant to be.
I have written before that if we are not at peace within ourselves then we are not there yet.
Being at peace is not a place of denial of what we are feeling but a place of authentic grace and joy felt within us.
This is the place we all long to be.
And this life will continue to lead us home if we let it.
Being sensitive to my feelings and others is not my weakness- it’s my strength.
It’s my gift that I can share with the world and help others find that place inside of their authentic truth and bring them back home
