In fact in my life this is often the case.
But the society we live in is a very fast paced society.
They expect more and more from people and their actions.
We expect more and more from our kids, from our families, from our community, from our work, from ourselves.
But what we need most in our lives is some space between the notes. Some reflection time, some feeling time, some relax between the busy.
This often takes a mental shift. And a change in attitude toward our lives.
Allowing ourselves this time is often hard with our lists and obligations of things we think we NEED or want to do.
However, sometimes those things aren’t always necessary to do or patience can be added to the process of doing them, opening us up to taking the time it takes.
Prioritizing our lives and opening up the space for what is really needed will help us stay in a peaceful place while carrying out our tasks.
It gives us time to read between the lines for ourselves and the ones around us.
Physically notice how our bodies feel.
Emotionally feel into the space of the situation.
Mentally help ourselves adjust to each situation as we experience them.
And spiritually connect to the energy around us and within us.
This is how we stay aligned.
This is how we listen to our inner selves.
This is how we find connection with ourselves and others.
If we are so busy moving through life we miss the moments of joy.
We bypass the moments of gratitude.
We don’t give ourselves time to settle into contentment and feel the happiness.
These feelings, as well as the others we miss by rushing through our days, are the feelings we are so busy looking for.
So I suggest taking a small step back bringing in a little more time to just notice, to just be, to just feel your way through life.
I swear it’s worth every moment of happiness you’ll find there ?
