Bare with me, this is all still very fresh.
Yesterday around 4pm we had what I thought was going to be a kick ass thunderstorm.
Boy was I wrong.
I saw the dark clouds, I heard the thunder, I closed the windows on the house and I sat on the floor with my kids in the living room. Right in the Center of the house away from windows and doors and right beside the basement door.
As we sat there I was waiting for this drastic downpour of rain, but it never came.
What we got was a huge gust of wind (to say the least) and I sat there and watched as the horse shelter that used to sit out front be pulled away from its posts and chains and blew away.
I prayed to god that it would not hit the house, and my prayers were answered.
It briefly crossed my mind to go down into the basement, but that’s just not what you do during thunderstorms lol.
Immediately after the dust had settled I put the toddler in the big chair in the living room. The one where he always sits and watches his shows (which was still playing on the TV) and told him to stay inside. The baby was strapped safely in his bouncy chair
I ran outside.
The carpenter who was working in our basement came out and I told him what happened.
I phoned Troy right away to tell him.
Thats when things got really scary. (Cause at that point I didn’t know what I didn’t know)
I was looking around at the damage.
Troy who was over 6 miles east of home said yes I know it’s windy, it’s raining and I’m watching a tornado right now ?
Then I looked up and that’s when I saw the truth.
This photo is taken off my front doorstep.
I still thought it was just a plow wind and this funnel was fields away.
However, once Troy got home he went and looked and said he thought it started out back near our corrals.
And I absolutely see the damaged trees back there – but upon further inspection this morning I’m starting to believe it went right through the back yard.
During the whole event I really wasn’t that scared (because I didn’t really know the whole extent of it) But afterwards as I learned more and more my adrenaline started to pump. What had we just been through?
knowing it was over and we were safe kept me in a calmer place and last night I sat there in gratitude processing the whole thing.
And I asked- what is the spiritual meaning of a tornado?
“Staying calm during the chaos” and “putting the pieces back together differently after the destruction”
I applied this to my life.
It’s been a crazy summer of healing, and transformation over here.
We are in a place of re-arranging and putting the pieces back together differently.
The healing and shifting seemed slow, and everytime I’d clear something out more would show up to be revealed.
As I’ve said I’ve been clearing our home and land, I’ve cleared and healed the people and relationships around us, and I’ve cleared both of our businesses, I have tried to shift anything that’s coming up.
And it almost felt like I just needed a kick ass way to break through. Like I was water beating against a rock ? I needed something stronger.
The universe got the message- or I did?
When I clear the house I use energy healing and because I like to be impatient I usually call in this kick ass energy ‘vacuum’ to help me.
Like I said the universe got the message.
We needed a deep energy cleanse. (coulda just used a shower though, the rain has been nice, that thunderstorm I thought we were getting would have been enough lol)
So here we go.
The other side of destruction.
Universe, I’m in it for a quantum leap.
I’m still not sure why a tornado ? was necessary but … message received.
And I had the most awakening conversation last night with a dear friend and things are shifting a lot faster now than ever before.
The pot has been stirred, the energy cleansed and a new dawn is upon us… all in time for the energy of my 39th year…
hold on…. My 40th year? Let me get back to you on that lol.
